Stamped decorative concrete patio in Bellevue, NE

You want your outdoor spaces to look amazing, but you also need them to last. Stamped and decorative concrete gives you both. At RedGuard Bellevue Concrete, we create custom concrete surfaces that mimic the look of expensive materials like stone, slate, brick, or wood without the high cost or constant maintenance.

Stamped concrete works on driveways, patios, walkways, and pool decks. You get a beautiful, custom look that fits your style while keeping the durability and low maintenance that makes concrete such a smart choice. We have been installing decorative concrete in Bellevue since 2024, and we know how to create finishes that stand up to Nebraska weather.

Why Choose Stamped or Decorative Concrete

Stamped concrete costs less than natural stone or pavers while giving you the same high-end look. You also avoid the maintenance headaches that come with other materials. No weeds growing between pavers, no stone that chips or cracks, no wood that rots or fades.

Here is what makes decorative concrete worth considering:

  • Custom appearance: Choose from dozens of patterns and colors
  • Lower cost: Get the look of stone or brick for 40-50% less
  • Easy maintenance: Just clean and reseal every few years
  • One solid surface: No pavers to shift or stones to come loose
  • Increases home value: High-end look that buyers appreciate

Design Options and Patterns

The options for stamped concrete are almost endless. We can create patterns that look like cobblestone, slate, flagstone, wood planks, brick, or tile. You can also combine patterns and add custom borders for a truly unique look.

Popular Patterns

Ashlar slate gives you the look of cut stone with random rectangular shapes. Cobblestone patterns work great for driveways and create that old-world European look. Wood plank patterns bring the warmth of wood decking to patios without the rot or splinters.

Color Choices

We use integral color mixed into the concrete and color hardeners applied to the surface. This creates rich, multi-toned colors that look natural. You can choose earth tones like tan, brown, and gray, or go bolder with reds, blues, or greens. We can also blend multiple colors to create depth and variation.

Texture and Finish

Beyond stamped patterns, we can add texture with exposed aggregate, salt finish, or broom finish. These create visual interest and provide slip resistance. For patios and pool decks, we make sure the surface has enough texture to be safe when wet.

How We Install Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete requires skill and timing. The concrete needs to be at just the right consistency to take the stamp pattern without tearing or losing detail. We have done this hundreds of times and know exactly when and how to work the concrete.

We start with the same site prep and base work as any quality concrete project. After pouring and leveling, we add color hardener and then stamp the pattern while the concrete is still workable. Once it sets, we clean the surface and apply a sealer that protects the concrete and enhances the colors. The result is a surface that looks great and stands up to heavy use and tough weather.
